What is Ezoic Enhanced Integration?

Enhanced integration is an additional setup step required for some of the apps offered by Ezoic. An example of an app that uses the enhanced integration is the iOS creator app. It allows you to help the system identify the different elements that make up your site. Don't worry, it only takes a few minutes to complete and you only have to do it once, then you can benefit from all the apps that use enhanced integration information!

At the moment, Layout Tester, iOS App Creator, Mobile Friendly and Sidebar Widgets apps are the only ones that require Enhanced Integration - but this list is likely to grow as we add new apps and features!  Apps that require Enhanced Integration have a small 'enhanced' label below the app logo.

Enabling Enhanced Integration

To begin, click the 'Start Ezoic Enhanced Integration' button (this will show up if you try to install an app that requires the enhanced integration). 



This will take you to a page where you'll need to identify some of the elements of your site, such as the logo, menu, and main content area. 

By hovering over each section, a little blue 'Options' box will appear. For example, if we are looking at the logo area of the site, the blue box will have the option 'Find my logo on my site'. 

You also have the options to edit the logo or delete it. When you click 'Find my logo on my site', you will be directed to your site's page and asked to identify the logo. Simply click the logo on your original site and then click 'Use This Element'. This will add the logo from your original site into the enhanced integration setup page. 

You will need to complete this for the logo, menu, sidebar, top content, main content, and footer. Once you've finished each section, click 'Complete Integration'.
