How to "Wrap" Page-Level ads

Ezoic Staff -

If you have "page-level" ads enabled for Adsense, it's highly recommended that you exclude their tags from testing sessions, so that the system can compare "apples to apples". Leaving anchor and vignette ads on the page may skew data and render Ezoic's split testing useless!

You can have page-level ads only run on the original version of your site by 'commenting out' the header tags provided by Google

Here's how you do this:

Wrap the header bidding tag in the following comments:

<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_BEGIN -->
**Page-Level Ad Scripts**
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_END -->

For anchor ads only:
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_BEGIN -->
<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({
google_ad_client: 'AdX_property_code_here',
enable_page_level_ads: true,
overlays: {google_ad_channel: 'channel_id_here'}
});
</script>
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_END -->

For vignette ads only:
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_BEGIN -->
<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
<script>
  (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({
    google_ad_client: 'AdX_property_code_here',
    enable_page_level_ads: true,
    vignettes: {google_ad_channel: 'channel_id_here'}
  });
</script>
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_END -->

For both anchor and vignette ads:
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_BEGIN -->
<script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
<script>
  (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({
    google_ad_client: 'AdX_property_code_here',
    enable_page_level_ads: true,
    vignettes: {google_ad_channel: 'channel_id_here'}
  });
</script>
<!-- EZOIC_REMOVE_END -->
