Now that testing is underway, you'll be starting to think about how your site is performing and considering tracking metrics over the long term.
This is where Ezoic Analytics provides unparalleled insights. This guide will highlight:
- Where to find relevant information on earning performance
- using Engaged User Experience Metrics
- Tracking changes in traffic and geolocation off users
- Using Ezoic's Advanced Reporting Feature
The earnings tab gives you the most accurate breakdown in revenue performance. Earnings are collected here for the percentage of your traffic seeing the Ezoic optimized version of your site (revenue from non-Ezoic traffic will collect in your previous ad network accounts as normal).
In addition, you'll be able to view the Mediation earnings. Ad Mediation is where you can link your existing ad partnership into testing. This is enabled for members who have joined into the AdSense Certified Partnership. For more information please contact your account manager or email@example.com.
These Mediation earnings are collected in your AdSense account (they are labelled as "Ezoic" Units in Adsense Reports > Common Reports > Ad Units) but are included into the calculation of your total Ezoic EPMV.
User Experience Reporting
Traditionally, metrics such as bounce rate, Time on Site (ToS), and Page Views Per Visit (pvpv) have been used to objectively measure user behavior. However, research has shown that these metrics are easily distorted. This is why Ezoic allows publishers to dig deeper into user behavior using the metrics below:
- Navigation bounces
- Engaged pageviews
- Average engaged time
- Returning visitor rate
- Copy and paste
- Connect to response
- And more....
This section helps you see general trends in these metrics, and tracks changes occurring over different periods of time. They are also broken down by device or into separate landing pages:
Traffic: This tab displays figures for the number of visitors trafficked through Ezoic testing.
Country: The country section gives you a complete report on earnings, traffic, and user experience separated by country. You can also view the report by device -- IOS App, mobile, tablet and desktop.
Advanced Reporting: This is a sophisticated tool to analyze your site's performance, Here you'll able to drill down into the figures, filtering them into thousands of different parameter combinations. For example, you can see your revenue by landing pages as well as track UTM source. When setting up your report, you have the option to choose from "Quick Reports" (which are common preset reports) or upload and save those that have been previously run. You can also export them as csv files.
Alternatively, you will be able to design your own query by splitting the data into specific parameters. These include:
If you have any questions regarding your site's performance or on any other feature listed above, please do not hesitate to reach out to your account manager or firstname.lastname@example.org
