Integration Methods Guide

Ezoic Customer Service -

This guide will answer the following questions:

  • What integration methods are available to Ezoic publishers?
  • What are the benefits of each integration method?
  • How do I integrate with each method?

Integrating with Ezoic allows publishers to test and optimize their website while leaving a version of your original site unchanged. There are a few different ways you can do this:

Nameservers

The recommended method of integration is to point your nameservers to Ezoic (this is what 99% of our existing publishers choose). We use Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) with four data center around the world to serve the site quickly and reliably. All you need to do is update your nameserver addresses at your domain registrar. Ezoic then becomes your master DNS; making it easy for you to turn Ezoic on and off while keeping your site up and running.

CloudFlare

CloudFlare users can integrate simply by installing the Cloudflare app in the Ezoic App Store. Ezoic will then pull in your CloudFlare records and become your master DNS.

By integrating with nameservers or through CloudFlare, Ezoic can sit between your users and your host- similar to a proxy. Changing nameservers does not affect your host and you can continue to work on your site and update the content without interruption.

Javascript

This method is only designed for small publishers who cannot change settings in their DNS (like .blogspot.com or wordpress.com website). This method is not recommended for sites with traffic greater than 30,000 visits per month and may slow the site down and increase the risk of JS conflicts.

This type of integration is not recommended for 99% of publishers. You can find JS integration code for your domain under Settings, Integration, Get Code.

If you have any questions regarding your site's performance or on any of the features listed above, please don't hesitate to reach out to your account manager or support@ezoic.com.
