Video Ads by Humix is a versatile tool designed to seamlessly integrate videos into all your articles, enhancing user engagement through intelligent video placement. It offers two primary video ad formats: Instream and Outstream.

  1. Instream Video:
    • Instream videos are embedded within your articles and are monetized through video ads. This format is particularly suitable for publishers who use their own video content, as the videos are integrated directly into the article.
    • If you don't have your own video content, you can still select this option. Humix will automatically provide and insert relevant video content, requiring no extra effort from you.

  2. Outstream Video:
    • Outstream videos, also known as floating outstream videos, are 'sticky' ads that remain anchored in the bottom corner of the screen. These ads feature video advertisements without any additional video content.
    • The floating outstream video ad is displayed until users interact with an in-content video or scroll past it. If no interaction occurs, a new instream video will transition to the floating corner position and play automatically, ensuring continuous revenue generation.

How to enable Video Ads by Humix:

Option 1: Through the Ezoic Ads Tab:

  • Navigate to Ezoic Ads tab > Ad Types > Video Ads by Humix > On.
  • Select which device types the Player should display on.
  • Choose between Instream and Outstream video ads (recommended for higher revenue potential) or Outstream only.

Option 2: Through Humix:

  • Click on Humix in your Ezoic dashboard.
  • Go to the Site tab.
  • In the settings section you can enable Humix by device, enable Humix auto-insert and Humix float settings.
