Why Use an Advanced Mobile Pages (AMP) Converter?
The Benefits of the Ezoic AMP Converter
Unfortunately, the majority of publishers are not sure how to convert their pages to AMP successfully, do not have the technical ability to convert their pages without a loss in performance, or quite simply do not know if they even want to convert their pages to AMP.
Ezoic's AMP Converter is a great way for publishers to explore the benefits of AMP - regardless of CMS - with absolutely no loss in design or performance. Ezoic provides the worry-free AMP transition that publishers are looking for with the assurance of it being provided by a Google Certified Partner.
A quick search for AMP converters will flood your search results with WordPress plugins and developer contact forms. Unfortunately, most plugins can't convert many of your website features to mobile and few developers understand how to maximize AMP properly.
The Ezoic AMP Converter overcomes the four greatest barriers to entry for sites that wish to transition to AMP. Ezoic...
Ezoic's AMP Converter ensures every site gets a full-featured and error free AMP transition. Additionally, with Ezoic, publishers can keep all of their existing ad-demand partners (including first-look providers and header bidders) through a single proprietary tag.
Users will first have to sign-up to use the Ezoic platform. Once approved to use the platform, all publishers that currently posses a mobile-friendly site will need to contact their Account Manager for more information.
Once implemented, Google Search - and other page requests that prioritize AMP by default - will index and display the AMP version of your mobile pages.
The AMP Converter gives publishers the ability to adjust the percentage of mobile traffic that is not grabbing the AMP-indexed version of your pages by default (for instance Facebook and direct traffic) to suit their preferences. As an example, a publisher may choose to only send 50% of their direct mobile traffic to the AMP version of their site so that they can conduct a direct comparison between the AMP-version of their mobile site and their existing mobile site.
The AMP Converter converts your pages to AMP pages instantly; meaning that once Google crawls your site after it is converted to AMP, it will be indexed. This varies from site to site, but rarely should it take more than a few days. Often this process can be expedited by using Fetch As Google feature in Google's Search Console (formerly Webmaster Tools).
Uninstall the AMP Converter to disable AMP on your site. This would remove the AMP functionality from your mobile site. Once Google re-crawls those pages it will remove the AMP indexed version of the sire from the mobile results and it will return to the previous indexed version of the site.
Please contact your Account Manager for more information.
Only features that are not currently available inside the AMP Project will be affected. All other elements of the site will appear exactly as your current mobile site appears. AMP does not support features that rely heavily on Javascript (for example, timers and active clocks). For the vast majority of sites, the Ezoic AMP Converter is able to provide an AMP user interface that is identical to the current version of their mobile website. In case you attempt to convert a feature that is not yet supported in AMP, Ezoic will reach out to notify you and suggest an alternative solution.
On the experiments page of the Ezoic user dashboard we allow sites to see how their user experience metrics and ad revenue compares to their previous configuration.
Additionally, Ezoic allows sites to see how mobile visits from sources that do not grab the AMP-version by default compare to the AMP version of your site (provided the user has elected to enable this in their AMP Converter configurations).
