Understanding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its implications on various web components is crucial for Ezoic publishers. This article addresses the use of Google Fonts in relation to GDPR compliance. Specifically, it will provide information on Ezoic's stance, the role of advertising partners, and practical steps for managing Google Fonts through the Ezoic dashboard. By the end of this article, you will have a clear understanding of how to ensure your site's compliance with GDPR concerning the use of Google Fonts.

How to Remove Google Fonts

Ezoic does not use any Google Fonts. Our advertising partners sometimes use Google Fonts, but these are only loaded after opting in. To ensure proper compliance, make sure you are using TCF 2.0.

How to remove Google Fonts with the help of Ezoic:

1. Go to Leap > Optimize >  Change Settings > Content Advanced Settings

2. Enable Remove Scripts and Styles > go to the Inclusion Rules

3. Click Create New Rule > enter "fonts.googleapis.com" with the Rule Target set to URL (href) > click Save
