Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while importing YouTube videos, here are some common problems and their solutions:

  1. Problem: Unable to link YouTube channel.
    • Solution: Ensure you are following the prompts for Google authentication correctly. Double-check your Google account credentials and make sure you have given the necessary permissions to link the channel.
  2. Problem: Import button is not working.
    • Solution: Refresh the YouTube Import page and try again. Ensure your internet connection is stable. If the problem persists, clear your browser cache and cookies and then attempt the import process once more.
  3. Problem: Videos are not appearing in the Studio section.
    • Solution: Verify that the import process was completed successfully. Navigate to the 'Manage Videos' section to check the import progress. Ensure that the imported videos are not hidden or filtered out in the display settings.
  4. Problem: Imported videos do not have titles, thumbnails, or descriptions.
    • Solution: Confirm that the videos have been fully processed. The titles, thumbnails, and descriptions should be imported automatically once processing is complete. If this information is still missing, try re-importing the videos.
  5. Problem: Previously imported videos are showing up as new.
    • Solution: The system should label already imported videos as "imported." If this is not happening, ensure that you are importing from the same YouTube channel and not a different one. If the issue continues, it may be a bug and contacting support might be necessary.

If these solutions do not resolve your issues, you may need to reach out for further assistance.
