How do payments work?

On this page you will be able to view the current amount owed to you from previous months, earnings for the current month, as well as a ledger that includes information on the earnings and payments for each month since you joined Ezoic.

Please note: 'credits' is money that is been credited to Ezoic's account by Ezoic's network Ad Partners and Mediation. 'Debits' is that same money going out of Ezoic's account and into your account as payment.

Please also note that this page is updated on the 4th of each month, during which time it's not unusual to temporarily see '$0' under 'Amount owed'. This is nothing to worry about and will update to show the correct earnings by the end of the day (PST).

*"Earnings this Month" is an estimate and can change after AdX verification.

Ezoic pays in arrears typically on a 30 day net basis; so if you join in May for example, you should expect to typically get paid at the end of June for May's revenue. Revenue also needs to meet the payment threshold set up in the 'payment settings' menu in your dashboard. The minimum payment threshold is $20 but you can set this to a value that suits you.

*Please note if revenue does not equal the payment threshold value in a given month, then revenue from this month will carry over and be added to the following month's total.

Using the above screenshot as an example, you can see that $55,605.90 was earned in January 2020 (credits column). This was then paid out at the end of February to the publisher (debits column). Then $54,755.08 was earned in February 2020, to be paid at the end of March 2020.

Invoices

Included in the payment information is an invoice for each payment, an example of which can be seen in the screenshot below. If you click on this you will be taken to a PDF which includes Ezoic's payment information, the invoice number and payment method, as well as publisher address and personal or company name.

You can update your personal details in the account settings tab in your dashboard

*Please note any changes which you want to be reflected on your next payment must be made by the 15th of the previous month.

Error messages

If you ever notice a failed payment this could be the result of a variety of reasons; for example, if you have chosen check as your payment method but live outside the US, it's possible this may have become lost in the post (in this event please reach out to Ezoic and we will cancel the cheque and re-issue the payment via a different method).

If you see a failed status and you are using Paypal please reach out to Paypal to check your Paypal settings are correctly configured to receive payments from Ezoic.

In order to get paid by Ezoic, you'll also need to make sure you fill out the payment method and tax information sections in your dashboard correctly. For more information on this please see Ezoic Payments.
