The following guide explains what it means to share your videos on the Humix network and how to ensure your videos are being shared.
What does it mean to share my videos to the network?
Sharing videos on the Humix network allows your videos to be viewed on both Humix.com, as well as on Ezoic websites which have Humix enabled.
How do I share videos on Humix?
Head to content > ensure 'Share New Videos to Network' is enabled. This will mean all future videos are distributed by default.
You can also filter videos by their share status from the Content tab, allowing you to identify any shared or unshared videos.
If videos are unshared hover over the video > head to 'video details' > enable sharing > save.
How can I track the performance of my videos across the Humix network?
Under Overview the ‘Overall Account Performance’ graph illustrates the revenue performance of videos on Humix network sites, either by the last seven or thirty days.
The Channel Metrics table also allows you to see which of your videos are trending across the network as well as the countries where your videos are getting views. The table can also be further split between the revenue made from video views on your own site and Humix pages vs the revenue produced from your videos being shared across the network.
By heading to Content > Analytics you can also track the performance of individual videos across the Humix network, including the number of views the video has across the network, video revenue and the viewer locations.
What if I don’t want a video to be shared on Humix?
If you don’t want certain videos to be shared on the network, you can unshare them by heading to Content > Edit Video Details > deselect the ‘Share on Humix’ option > hit Save.
What is the difference between private videos and unshared videos on Humix?
Unshared videos will not show across the Humix network, but will continue to show on your own website (if you have added a site to Ezoic).
Private videos will not show on your own site or across the Humix network.
