Where can I manage videos in my Humix account?

Introduction

In this guide, we will explore how to manage your Humix library with ease to filter, update, and organize your video content with ease. Discover the tools available for bulk updating videos, adjusting SEO settings, creating playlists, and more. 

Steps

  1. Click on the Content tab within your dashboard begin managing your videos.
  2. To filter your videos, use the available options to select based on channel, category, visibility, or shared status.

  3. If you need to update multiple videos at once, you can bulk update up to 100 videos:
    1. Select all the videos you want to update.
    2. Click on the parameter you wish to update.




  4. For a better user experience, expand the videos per page view in the bottom right corner of the Content tab.

  5. Hover over individual videos to access a range of further functions
    • Add To Favourites (which means the video may be selected as a fallback method if no other relevant video content can be found on the Humix Network)
    • Analytics (view individual video analytics)
    • Copy Embed Code (copy the specific embed code to paste into your website)
    • Edit Video Details (including title and description)
    • Edit SEO and Settings (add keywords and video categories)
    • Dedicated Video Page (assign the video to a URL on your site) 

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while accessing your content library, here are some common problems and their solutions:

  1. Videos Not Appearing in Filters:
    • Issue: After setting filters by channel, category, visibility, or shared status, some videos are not appearing.
    • Solution: Ensure that the filters are correctly applied and that you have expanded the videos per page view at the bottom of the studio. This will allow more videos to be displayed on a single page.
  2. Bulk Update Not Working:
    • Issue: The bulk update function does not seem to be updating up to 100 videos at once.
    • Solution: Double-check that you have selected all the videos you wish to update before clicking the parameter. If the problem persists, try refreshing the page and attempting the bulk update again.
  3. SEO Settings Not Accessible:
    • Issue: Unable to access the SEO settings for your videos.
    • Solution: Hover over the video to access quick actions. If the SEO settings still do not appear, ensure that your browser is up to date and that there are no ad-blockers or extensions interfering with the functionality.
  4. Creating Playlists Issues:
    • Issue: Difficulty in creating playlists with videos from owned domains and channels.
    • Solution: Verify that you are logged into the correct account that owns the domains and channels. Hover over the video description to access the quick action for creating playlists.
  5. Embed Codes Not Copying:
    • Issue: Unable to copy embed codes from owned domains and channels.
    • Solution: Make sure you are using the latest version of your web browser and that clipboard permissions are enabled. Hover over the video description to find the option to copy embed codes.
