Steps

  1. Log in to your OVH Control Panel.

  2. Click 'Domains' in the services bar on the left-hand side and choose the domain name concerned.

  3. Go to the 'DNS Servers' tab.

  4. You will see a table listing the DNS servers currently set with OVH for your domain name. Each DNS server will have its own row in the table.

  5. To start editing your DNS servers, click the 'Modify DNS servers' button.

  6. In the text fields, enter the custom nameservers generated for you by Ezoic. These custom nameservers can be found under 'Settings' > 'Site Integration' > 'Name Servers' > 'View Instructions' in your Ezoic Dashboard.

  7. Once you have entered the custom nameservers, click 'Apply configuration'.

  8. The statuses for the DNS servers will update in the table, showing the new information you have provided.

  9. After making the required changes, wait for them to become fully effective. This change may take up to 48 hours to propagate across all servers. You can track the progress in your OVH Control Panel by going to the 'Domains' section in the services bar on the left-hand side, then 'Ongoing operations'.

Troubleshooting

  1. DNS Servers Not Updating: If your DNS server changes are not updating in the OVH Control Panel, ensure that you have clicked "Apply configuration" after entering the custom name servers. Double-check that the name servers entered are correct and match those provided by Ezoic.
  2. Propagation Delay: Changes to DNS servers can take up to 48 hours to propagate. If you do not see the changes reflected immediately, wait for the full 48-hour period. Check the "Ongoing operations" section in the OVH Control Panel to monitor the progress of your changes.
  3. Incorrect Name Servers: If you entered incorrect name servers, the DNS may not resolve correctly or may lead to errors. Always verify the name servers under 'Settings' > 'Site Integration' > 'Name Servers' > 'View Instructions' in your Ezoic Dashboard before applying the configuration.
  4. OVH Control Panel Access Issues: If you are unable to access the OVH Control Panel, ensure your login credentials are correct. Clear your browser cache or try accessing the Control Panel from a different browser. If issues persist, contact OVH support for assistance.
  5. Status Not Updating: If the status of your DNS servers does not update after applying the configuration, refresh the OVH Control Panel or log out and log back in. If the issue remains, there may be a delay on OVH's end, and you should contact their support team for further investigation.
