    • From the “Create” menu, click on “Add New Video.”
    • Copy & paste the URL (including the http://) from a published article from the publisher’s site.
    • Click "Go." The video will be created with the article’s content pre-filled in the narration panel, and associated text slides are created.
    • If the article is very long, a “Summarization” screen will encourage shortening the article to keep the video at approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Create from an AI Script:
    • Input a topic into the AI script builder.
    • Click “Create Video” to begin editing and customizing the AI-generated script.
  3. Create from an Audio Recording:
    • Upload an audio recording to use as the narration.
    • Build the video around your audio recording.
  4. Start from Scratch:
    • Opens the editor screen to start building new content.

  6. Adding a Video Title:
    • In creation/edit mode, click on the text in the top left corner to rename the video.
  7. Configuring Video Settings:
    • Under the gear icon, configure settings such as narrator’s voice, adding soundtrack, choosing a theme/background, and setting transition timing.
  8. Using Media Content:
    • To use your own media content, click the “Upload Media” icon to browse your computer for the file.
    • To use curated/provided content, click the photo/video icon to search the media library.

Troubleshooting

Here are some common issues users might encounter and their solutions:

  1. Issue: The video created from a webpage is too long.
    • Solution: If the article is very long, the “Summarization” screen will show up, prompting users to shorten the article to keep the video approximately 5 minutes long. Follow the on-screen instructions to condense the content.
  2. Issue: Narration text is not matching the slide content.
    • Solution: Ensure you edit the spoken text within the narration editor by double-clicking on the specific narration box. Remember, editing the slide text does not change the spoken narration. Use the drag icon to the left of the narration row to drag and drop the narration text onto the appropriate slide.
  3. Issue: Unable to preview transitions and animations in the video.
    • Solution: During the creation/editing process, click the “Preview” button in the top right corner. Note that this preview is a rough version and will lack many transitions, animations, and other visual effects.
  4. Issue: Video slides are in the wrong order.
    • Solution: Use the “Move Up” or “Move Down” icons to the right of the slide to reorder the slides and their narrations appropriately.
  5. Issue: Cannot expand image or video content to full screen.
    • Solution: Ensure your slide duration is at least 5 seconds by clicking on the timer above the narration text and selecting the necessary number of extra seconds. Then use the “Toggle Fullscreen” option to expand the content to its fullest width/height.
  6. Issue: Cannot add personal voiceover audio.
    • Solution: Currently, only the narrator’s voice selected from the dropdown can be used for narration. Ensure you select the desired narrator’s voice before proceeding.
  7. Issue: Content from an online article cannot be edited before creating the video.
    • Solution: Use the “Edit text before creating” option in the Advanced Settings to make necessary edits to the content from the online article before creating the video.
  8. Issue: Video is not rendering or taking too long to render.
    • Solution: Rendering might take some time. Enable the notification setting to receive an email when rendering is complete. Ensure the “Render My Video” button is clicked after previewing to start the rendering process.
  9. Issue: Unable to add background music.
    • Solution: Go to Settings, click “Edit Soundtrack,” then “Upload Track” to locate and upload a .mp3 file. Ensure compliance with copyright laws as per the terms of use agreement.

If these solutions do not resolve your issue, you may need to consult the detailed documentation or reach out to our support team for further assistance.
