How Can I Integrate My Site with Ezoic?
Modified on: Wed, 27 May, 2020 at 7:41am

In order for Ezoic to work on a website, integration must be completed first. None of Ezoic's features, optimizations, or monetization functions will be accessible without integrating first.

Name Server Integration (connecting with Ezoic's CDN via name servers):

The most common (and recommended) method of integration is to connect to Ezoic's CDN by pointing your name servers to Ezoic. We use Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) with 21+ data centers around the world to serve the site quickly and reliably.

All you need to do is update your name servers at your domain’s registrar. This allows Ezoic to sit in between your users and your host, similar to a proxy. Changing name servers does not affect your host and you can continue to work on your site and update the content as you normally would, without interruption.

Videos of how to change name servers at the most common registrars can be viewed using the above . Otherwise, you can find some of the most common registrars along with simple instructions on how to update name servers here

If you don't see the green checkmark after integration, click the green text shown at the end of the instructions for details. In most cases, integration simply takes a little while to propagate across the web.

You can assume integration is complete and continue Ezoic configuration.

Cloudflare Integration

Ezoic is a Certified CloudFlare partner. If you already use CloudFlare as a CDN, Ezoic integration is as easy as it gets.

Ezoic will detect if you're a current CloudFlare user, and will automatically integrate your site upon sign-up in most cases. If that is the case, under integration, you'll see the green flag in the top left of the CloudFlare option that says "Integrated".

If CloudFlare still requires you to log in to integrate, there will simply be a black flag in the top right corner that says "recommended". Then, simply click the green button that says, "activate via own account". Click the button, and log in to your account.

NOTE: If you intend to integrate via CloudFlare, you should never click the black button that says "Remove CloudFlare integration" unless advised by a member of Ezoic staff.

Upon completion, click on "integration complete" if you're just getting started.

Publishers can also integrate easily using the Ezoic WordPress plugin. It allows publishers to integrate via WordPress without disrupting any aspect of their website.

NOTE: WP plugin integration will require an additional step if you have an existing ads.txt file.

All methods of integration are easy to reset; meaning you can revert to pre-Ezoic settings with a simple click.
