Adding Videos to Pages

Modified on: Fri, 23 Feb, 2024

Humix provides powerful tools for getting videos on your pages.

The simplest option for getting videos on pages

Use Humix's Auto Insert Function where you still have the power to determine float settings and generalized location preferences.

Don't have any videos of your own?

Under Video Content Settings you can select which videos you want to appear on your site. In this case, you can use 3rd party videos from Humix Network only.

Please Note: The most recommended option is a combination of both your videos and 3rd party network videos.

Have a lot of videos on YouTube?

Navigate to the Channel tab on your Humix dashboard and link your account.

From here you can Link Channel, Authorize Analytics, and Replace Embedded YouTube videos. All three of which are highly recommended.

Once this setting is enabled, any videos from your YouTube library that you’ve imported into your Humix Studio with the YouTube Import feature will be replaced with native Humix video players.

Are you uploading videos straight to Humix?

In the Overview tab, you will be presented with multiple options.

Additionally, you can proceed to the Studio tab where you will see additional options and the videos you have uploaded.

Other than directly uploading videos to Humix and using the Auto Insert function, Humix users can also Embed videos.

This process allows Humix to automatically choose from a video, only your selected videos, your playlists, or network videos from Humix.com.

Automatically Select Video =
My videos and network videos (most recommended), network videos, and my video only. All of which can be matched by page category or content category.

My Videos
= Embed any videos that you have uploaded to Humix.

image

My Playlists
= Embed any playlists created in Humix.

Humix.com Video
= Embed a 3rd party video from Humix.com

All of this will take you to this page which will allow you to copy and paste the embed code directly on the site or use the Humix plugin if you use WordPress as your CMS.
