Clickable Links and Selecting Video Start Time
Videos can have clickable links added to the playback screen that will redirect your visitors to a different page. This link can be either internal or external.
A link can be added by navigating to the video list and clicking the 'Edit' button.
Then, click 'Links'. Here, you can add the text you want to be displayed and the associated link.
To set when a video should begin, scroll to the right of the 'Video Configuration' screen above and click 'Video Settings'. Here, you can decide at what point the video should begin playing.
Within the list of video placeholders, you can customize the ad experience per video. To start, click the edit button on a placeholder from the list. Autostart, Floating: Automatic, and Ads: Auto will be selected. By unselecting Floating: you can select which devices have floating ads. By unselecting Ads: Auto, you can decide if this particular video will have preroll, midroll, or postroll ads.
Within video placeholders, you can also decide which video plays first in a particular playlist. Simply click the edit button of a playlist, and then in the section labeled 'Starting Playlist Video', select the video you would like the playlist to begin with.
In these settings, you can decide if ads show on your videos or not. Click 'Configure Ad Settings', and then click or unclick enable ads.
Video Player Style Settings
You can edit the style of your videos by scrolling to the 'Video Player Styling' section and selecting 'Edit Style Settings'. Here, you can choose the foreground color of the loading icon and choose the background color of your videos for before they load.
Assigning a Video to Multiple Pages
If you would like to have a particular video show on multiple pages, go to the page with the video and activate the Ezoic Chrome Extension for video, and then 'Select Video Location'.
Now, click the video title and select 'Edit'.
Click the placeholder settings in the lefthand menu and click 'Apply to sub-directory'. In Select URL match path, select "/". Now, any time this place is available on a page, this video will be placed there.
