How to check your payment history?

Last Updated over a month ago

Introduction

Welcome to our step-by-step guide on how to check your payment history with Ezoic. Understanding your payment history is crucial for managing your earnings effectively. In this article, we'll walk you through where to find your payment logs and invoices, explain how payments work, and provide insights on interpreting the information displayed in your Ezoic Dashboard. We'll also cover common error messages and how to address them. By the end of this guide, you'll have a thorough understanding of how to navigate and manage your payment history within your Ezoic account.

Steps

To access the Payment History page, click on the Account Icon located in the top right corner of your Dashboard. Then navigate to Billing & Payments > Payment History. You will find detailed records of your ad revenue for each month.

On the Payment History page, you can view the current amount owed to you, your earnings for the current month, and a ledger with historical earnings and payments since you joined Ezoic. Remember, this page includes combined earnings from all your sites, and cannot be separated out by site.

This page is updated on the 4th of each month.

Anything else I need to know?

Ezoic pays in arrears, typically on a 30-day net basis. For example, if you join in May, you should expect to get paid at the end of June for May’s revenue. Using the below screenshot as an example, you can see that $55,605.90 was earned in January 2020 (credits column). This was then paid out at the end of February to the publisher (debits column). Then $54,755.08 was earned in February 2020, to be paid at the end of March 2020.

Ensure your revenue meets the payment threshold by adjusting this downwards under the Payment Settings tab if necessary. The minimum threshold is $20, but you can adjust this to suit your needs. If your revenue does not meet the payment threshold in a given month, it will carry over and be added to the next month's total. Make sure any changes you want reflected on your next payment are made by the 15th of the previous month. Otherwise they will not be applied until the next month.

Included with your payment information is an invoice for each payment. By clicking on it, you can access a PDF with details such as Ezoic's payment information, the invoice number, payment method, and your personal or company name and address.

You can update your personal details in the Ezoic Account Details tab.

Troubleshooting

If you ever notice a failed payment, this could be due to a variety of reasons. For example, if you have chosen check as your payment method but live outside the US, the check may have become lost in the mail. In this event, please reach out to Ezoic, and we will cancel the check and re-issue the payment via a different method.

If you see a failed status and you are using PayPal, please reach out to PayPal to check that your PayPal settings are correctly configured to receive payments from Ezoic.

Additionally, to ensure successful payments, make sure you have correctly filled out the Form of Payment and Tax Information sections in your Dashboard. For further information on this, please refer to the Ezoic Payments article.
