In this article, we will guide you through the process of uploading your videos to Humix. Whether you're looking to upload videos directly from your device, import them from your YouTube account, or use an MRSS feed, we've got you covered. Follow our step-by-step instructions to ensure your videos are uploaded seamlessly, with all the necessary details to maximize their reach and engagement. 

1. Open the Humix dashboard and click either ‘Add Video’ at the top of the Overview page, or head to Content and select one of the import methods.

2. Select your desired upload method. You can add videos by:
   • Uploading directly from your device
   • Importing videos from your YouTube account
   • Via MRSS feed
     
     
     
3. To upload directly from your device:
   • Drag and drop your video file in the designated box, or click ‘Select File’ to upload a video from your files.
     
   • Once you’ve clicked ‘Open’, your video will automatically begin to upload.
     
   • While it's uploading, add video details such as the description, title, or whether you’d like to add the video to an existing playlist.
   • All uploaded videos are set to ‘public’ visibility by default. Change the visibility to 'Private' if you don't want your video viewable yet.
   • Click Continue to finish adding your video details.
   • Add accurate Content Categories and keywords to help Humix share your videos on relevant websites.
   • Optionally, add your own video transcription or let Humix automatically transcribe the video for you.
     
   • Adjust the start time of the video when it’s played on a website if needed.
   • Add an Info Banner to serve on your video, if applicable.
     
     
4. Once you've added all desired video details, click “Finish”. You will be taken to the upload confirmation page. From here, you can:
   • Copy the embed code to embed the video on your site.
   • If you’re a WordPress user with the Humix plugin installed, copy the video link or the embed code to implement on your website.
     
     

Adding Videos via YouTube Import

5. Select the option for YouTube Import.
6. Link a new channel or import videos from a previously linked channel.
   • If you link a new channel, you will be presented with a Permission Modal. Simply click Allow.
   • If your channel is already linked, click Import.
     
     
7. Unlink any channels you no longer use or want to use, if necessary.
8. After clicking Import, you will be directed to a page where you can select and import all the videos you want.
   
   
9. After clicking Import, a pop-up will appear where you can either import more or manage the already imported videos.
   • If you select the Manage Videos option, you will be directed back to your studio where you can make SEO and editorial choices by clicking the pencil icon next to the videos just imported.
   • Note that YouTube videos may take longer to import and appear in the studio. Please be patient.

10. Go to the MRSS option in the dashboard.
11. Enter the file URL and click Save.
12. All other editorial and SEO choices are the same as the other two options.
