This app allows you to disable ads for a page or a directory in the Ezoic system. It's found under the 'Monetization' tab in your Ezoic dashboard.
First, go to the 'Monetization' tab, and enable the app:
Click the "settings" icon.
You'll then be taken to this page where, using the drop-down menu, you can select a URL, Cookie, Meta tag, or Subdomain where you wouldn't like ads to show:
Select the page rule option you would like to create then click New Rule. For example if you want to exclude ads from your home page select URL then click new rule.
Next, you will need to select the rule type from the drop down bow below:
You only need to add the URL path after the domain name - that's everything after and including the first '/' in the URL.
For example, to disable ads from the home page simply enter a backslash - like this: '/'
Then click 'Create Rule' and you're done!
The app also gives you the option to disable by cookie, Meta tag and subdomain, by clicking the drop down menu here:
To Exclude by Cookie - Select the option from the drop down menu, click 'New Rule' and then enter the name and value of the cookie you want to disable ads for.
To Exclude by Meta Tag - Select the option from the drop down menu, click 'New Rule' and then enter the name and content of the meta tag you want to disable ads for.
To Exclude by Subdomain - Select the option from the drop down menu, click 'New Rule' and then enter the name of the subdomain you want to disable ads for.
For sites using the Layout Tester app, you also have the option to disable page ad locations. Individual ad locations can be disabled on a page by visiting the page in your browser and pressing Ctrl+Alt+E on your Keyboard. Click the Layout tester tab to see the rules that have been set up.
Here you can set up rules to disable ads only on ad tester pages (leaving them running on layout tester). By clicking the drop down menu here, you can disable all ads, or just the AI placeholder ads on the page or directory:
Then you'll need to use the Excluded Pages app. Click here to learn more.
