Introduction
This guide will run through how to manage custom ad breaks in Open.Video. You may choose to do this for example if you prefer ads to show at natural pauses in your video, or if you require finer control over the number and placement of ads for your organisation's needs.
Instructions
To access custom ad breaks go to Open.Video > Manage Videos. From there, click the three dots next to your chosen video and select Define Ad Breaks:
1.Timeline Editor

Use the timeline editor to zoom in and out for a more detailed view of your video.

Click and drag the blue sliders to choose exactly where mid-roll ads should appear.

Toggle pre-roll ads on or off depending on your requirements.
2. Ad Break Settings

Use Ad Break Settings to add new ad breaks or delete existing ones.

Make adjustments until you’re satisfied with the placement and frequency of ads.
3. Review

Click Preview to watch your video and see how ads will appear to viewers.

Once you’re happy with the setup, click Save to confirm your changes.
