What is two-factor authentication?


You can now enable Two-Factor Authentication for your Ezoic account, providing an extra layer of security! Two-Factor Authentication means that, in addition to entering a password to access your account, you will be required to verify your login attempt through one other method, such as via your mobile phone. 


How to enable two-factor authentication at Ezoic?


We are no longer only using Authy, and instead now offer Authenticator App Based MFA.

To enable Two-Factor Authentication for your Ezoic account, first navigate to your 'Account Settings' in the Ezoic Dashboard. From here, you will see the option 'Two Factor Settings':

Once you enable Two-Factor Authentication, a QR code to scan will appear. You can use any authenticator app of your choice, Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator. Once the QR code is scanned, then verify with the verification token in your Authenticator app, and confirm your password, then click Save.

NoteFor security reasons, you will not be prompted to enter an email address. We will automatically use the one currently being used for your Ezoic login. If you wish to use a different email address, you must change the one associated with your Ezoic account.
