Images appear only after the page has been loaded for several seconds, how do I fix this?

Modified on: Fri, 9 Feb, 2024

If images don't appear until long after the page loads, this is likely why...

This is typically related to Leap or Ezoic caching lazy-loading images without existing image optimization or asynchronous loading features on the website disabled (or they are still being cached).

The feature causing this the Ezoic Script delay feature in most cases. It's because the images aren't able to load and are delayed by something unrelated to Leap. When Leap is performing image optimization and lazy-loading, the images will lazy-load normally.

Troubleshooting steps:

1.) Ensure any theme, plugin, technologies, hard-coded tags, or host features that attempt any form of image optimization, compression, or lazy/asynchronous loading are toggled off on your website.

2.) Clear your site speed cache in the "website settings"  section of Leap

3.) Ensure you clear the site cache by scrolling down to the bottom of the Speed tab in your Ezoic dashboard, selecting the caching app, and clearing your site cache
