Modified on: Sat, 11 Nov, 2023

What is included in the Error Pages report?

This report shows the pages that return errors and the pages that link to them.

The Error Pages App will show the URL with the error, the error code that has been found on the page, the error count within a given date range, a link to the url with the error, and the referring url when the page was requested.

Where is the Error Pages App found?

You can find the Error Pages App in your Ezoic dashboard under the 'Settings' menu:

What to do if you have Error Pages?

If you would like ads to show on these pages again, please consider revising the page to remove the error that was flagged.

Top Tips:

Please pay attention in particular to any top landing pages; sites with a lot of errors may be leaving revenue on the table here.

*Also, please note 404 errors rarely affect a site's ranking so according to Google you can safely ignore them. Typically, they are caused by typos, site configurations, or by Google's increased efforts to recognize and crawl links in embedded content such as JavaScript.

More information on how to investigate and fix the errors can be found in the Google Support pages here.

How long does the Error Pages App take to update?

You can search for errors up to 30 days back. Once you update your site to remove the error, it will no longer appear in the report following 30 days.

You can check this by adjusting the date range filters in the top left so that the starting date is the day after you removed this content. You should then see the URLs previously flagged disappear from the generated report.

Please remember Ezoic reporting updates at midday PST for data from the day before, so you'd need to make sure that you've given this a little bit of time to update in your dashboard.
